He has more than 35 years of experience managing and leading Environmental, Health, Safety and Security programs in chemical, manufacturing and consulting industries:
- 11 years holding Regional and Global EHSS Leadership roles with SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corp.)
- 15 years holding Global Environmental and Remediation Leadership roles with General Electric Co. (GE Plastics)
- 9 Years consulting to advise external clients with Environmental and Engineering Consulting firms.

Global EHSS Executive: Leadership Skills & Attributes
- Leads design, development and implementation of Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) programs for multi-national chemical industry manufacturers with revenues ranging from $8 - $50 billion and employee populations ranging from 9,000 to 35,000 operating in more than 40 countries
- Operates in a seamlessly integrated manner with manufacturing to improve EHSS operating systems by increasing engagement with other key business functions (i.e., Technology, Procurement, Supply Chain, Commercial, Sustainability, Communications, etc.)
- Communicates clear messages that connect EHSS value to the business vision of large, multi-national chemical manufacturers
- Creates an environment of open-minded brainstorming and conversation that is inclusive, collaborative, and solution-oriented
- Develops, deploys and sustains EHSS risk management strategies and multi-year strategic improvement plans, including establishment of leading EHSS indicators and recognition of Human Factors to create stronger generative culture and inherent sense of vulnerability to proactively anticipate potential incidents
- Leads, mentors and coaches key global talent and directly engages and provides feedback to executive leadership team members on their communications, actions and behaviors as they relate to building sustainable EHSS cultures both internally as well as with external stakeholders.
