Advise clients on critical EHSS aspects and develop risk mitigation strategies during the due diligence process for Merger, Acquisition & Divestiture, including greenfield project development and post-closure care for inactive properties, including environmental remediation.
Collaborate with clients to develop, deploy and sustain EHSS risk management strategies and multi-year strategic improvement plans, including establishment of leading EHSS indicators and recognition of Human Factors to create stronger generative culture and inherent sense of vulnerability to proactively anticipate potential incidents.
Coaching and mentoring Operations and EHSS Leaders to drive a globally consistent approach to strengthen the EHSS culture across all aspects of manufacturing, Business Units, and Corporate Functions by focusing on leading indicators and enhanced risk discovery tools to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Also, leveraging Human Performance and Human Behavior methods to increase the organizational understanding of human factors, human error and desired human outcomes – especially when facing dilemmas.
Lead, mentor and coach key global talent and directly engages and provides feedback to executive leadership team members on their communications, actions and behaviors to create the right environment to build sustainable EHSS cultures both internally as well as with external stakeholders.
Develop strategic approach for implementation of site investigation, risk assessments and feasibility studies at active manufacturing, inactive industrial sites and third-party waste disposal facilities under U.S. EPA RCRA Corrective Action & Federal Superfund, State Voluntary Remediation programs and international soil and groundwater restoration programs.
Balance client objectives with regulatory requirements and stakeholder concerns to develop strategies and approaches to cost-effectively perform environmental remediation of historically contaminated sites. Always focused on effectively reducing risk to human health and the environment while managing regulatory and community stakeholder requirements.
